He is survived by: his daughters, Kathryn Baer and Sherri Askew; his grandson Jordan Askew; his great grandchild Blair Askew; his nieces and nephews, Kim Naples, Michelle Johnston, Michael Greenslit, Scott Greenslit and Glenn Stauffer; his wife Patricia Dunkin; and his siblings, Edna Lou Walker and William.

In 2020, due to Covid, he moved in with his daughter, Sherri, until his unexpected passing.
