We announce the death of Teresa Soobitsky in Orlando, Florida, born in Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away on August 22, 2026. She was predeceased by: her mother Iva Jean Lands; her stepfather Edward O'Connell; and her father John Gillis. She is survived by: her husband Aaron Soobitsky; her stepdaughter Leah Burland (Tom); her son Wesley; her stepson Taylor Soobitsky (Emily Johnston); and her stepgrandchildren, Lottie, Caleb and Fritz.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lung Cancer Foundation in honor of her father.
