He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ard and Annie Lou Hill Ard. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Driggers Ard; his children, Judith Ard, Julie Ard Campbell Mt (Mitchell) and Jonathan Ard; and his caregivers, Jennifer Tyner, Brandon-Lee Brett, Troy Pelaske and Royce Gates.
