She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Schmidt and Mary Schmidt. She is survived by: her daughters, Claire Gatrell Stephens (Craig) and Julie Gatrell Kilby (Rick); her brother Jack Schmidt (Alice); her sibling's children, Sharon, Ree, Brenda, Lisa, Barbara, Audrey, Ross, Theodore, Bret, Carl and Larry; her cousins, Paul (Jeannie), Grace and Ann; and her brother-in-law Ron Newton of Ohio. She is also survived by children of her nieces and nephews.
