She was predeceased by: her husband James Long; her son Michael Long; her parents, Velma Irene Lowry Heard and Judson Davidson Heard; and her siblings, Charles, Raymond, Carl, Harold, Kenneth Heard, Bobbie Blake and Sandra Leuty.
She is survived by: her children, Ed Long of Orlando and Kay Koger (Lee) of Kissimmee Florida; her siblings, Wanda Runyan of Soddy Daisy and Larry "Jake" Heard (Nancy) of Calhoun, Georgia.; and her grandchildren, Christy Long, Josh Long, Craig Long, Kelli Dinkel, Kari Koger, Jamie Long and Christopher Sparks.
