She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Gust Caragan and Signa Caragan; her husband Lieutenant Colonel Edward G. McCartney; her children, Debra Ellen Hartman, Jeffrey James McCartney (Jaila Mahalhaes) and Desiree Lisa McCartney (Martin); her granddaughter Jessica McCartney; her great grandchildren, Porter and Christian; and her grandchildren, Cameron and Olivia.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home (2811 Curry Ford Rd, Orlando, FL 32812). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Florida National Cemetery (6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513).
