He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry Barber, Sr. and Myrtle Lee Lamb Barber; his daughter Pauline Yvonne Barber; and his siblings, Ralph Barber, Rollie Barber, Charles Barber and Phyllis Barber Jackson.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Ann Parker Barber; and his children, Tammie Roberts (Brock), Sherry Lynn Demel (Timothy), Billie Barber (Dane) and Buddy Barber (Samantha). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Monday, July 27th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel (401 W Canal St, Picayune, MS 39466). A graveside service was held on Monday, July 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Burgetown Cemetery (314 Burgetown Rd, Carriere, MS 39426).
