It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ann Oakley (Ormond Beach, Florida), born in Smithfield, North Carolina, who passed away on May 5, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Thelma Peedin Oakley and Cledith Emory Oakley, Sr.. She is survived by : her close friend Jackie Kessler; her brother Cledith Oakley (Dinah); her children, Mary Daniels and Jim Beardsley (Kathy); and her grandchildren, Samantha, Rebecca, Rosemary Daniels, Audrey Beardsley, Patrick, Oliver and Carver Beardsley. She is also survived by three nephews and one niece; eighteen grand and great grand nieces and nephews, and cousins.
