We bid farewell to Bertie Sargis of Ormond Beach, Florida, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 19, 2025 at the age of 84. Bertie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Horvath and Bertha Horvath; and her son Dennis Rivkin. She is survived by: her husband Jim Sargis; her children, Daniel Rivkin, David Rivkin (Jessica), Don Rivkin (Jennifer), Denise Anria and Dominic Rivkin (Cassie); her stepsons, Eric Sargis (Blair) and Matthew Sargis; her grandchildren, Angeline, Dennis, Aiden, Julia, Max, Nicole, Alexis, Samantha, Landon, Shiloh and Violet; and her brother Steve Horvath. She is also survived by many loving relatives, dear friends, and her church family.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Coast Lutheran Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Bertie's memory may be made to Shepherd of the Coast Lutheran Church.
