He is survived by : his parents, Rosemarie Vecchia and Louis Vecchia of Daytona Beach, Florida; his significant other Pattie Taylor of Ormond Beach, Florida; and his significant other's children, Meghan Jeffries of Fostoria and Jacob Taylor of Ormond Beach.

In Lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Brian's memory to the American Cancer Society.
