Dorothy E Trusso, age 83, of Ormond Beach, Florida, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2022. Dorothy was born February 16, 1939.

Dorothy was preceded in death by parents, Ralph & Anzie Elswick. Dorothy is survived by son, Carmen (Heidi) Trusso; daughter Beverly Oglesby; grandchildren, Brandon, TJ, Cherise and Hannah and a host of family and friends.

Dorothy loved spending time with family and friends (including her cat Angel); whether reminiscing about the old days or sharing dinner for the holidays. Dorothy had a zest for life, loved to laugh and her smile sparkled like her beloved shiny diamonds and lit up any room she entered. Dorothy's kind, gentle soul was felt by everyone that met her and her love was received by all her family and friends. May the kindness, and compassion that Dorothy had for all be remembered through the memories, and through her legacy may they live on forever in our hearts. She will truly be missed by all.

Graveside service will be Wednesday, July 27 at 10 am at Volusia Memorial Park in Ormond Beach, Florida.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be from 11 am to 1 pm on Wednesday, July 27 at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home in Ormond Beach.
