He was predeceased by: his parents, Vern Hilliard and Helen Hilliard (Cleary); his wife Jean Margaret Wagner; his parents-in-law, Stanley and Edna Wagner (Morgan); his brothers, Herbert and Edmund; and his siblings-in-law, Wilma Hilliard (Rodger), Alice Parr (Wagner), Charles Parr, Vearn Golz, Harvey and Robert Wagner.
He is survived by: his children, Michelle Brecht (Hilliard), Patrick, Peggy Hilliard (Lee), Shawn and Marci Hilliard (Larson); and his grandchildren, Jesse Brecht, Danielle Rocke (Josiah), Kathleen Thompson (Kyle), Rebecca Yager (Tom), Caleb Brecht, Hannah Brecht, Joyce Yang (Jim), Mary Barnard (Cary), Julie Sorensen (Todd), Luke Hilliard and Olivia Hilliard. He is also survived by 22 great grandchildren, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
