She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick R. Markert and Barbara W. Markert; her brother Richard F. Markert; her brother-in-law Donald W. Long; and her nephew Anthony P. Long.
She is survived by: her brother Bruce Markert (Barbara); her nieces and nephews, Erin Markert, Dustin Foudray, Erik Markert, Taylor Shawver and Kristopher Markert; her sister Patricia Long; her nieces and nephews, Victoria, Jeramy Darden, Barbara and Patrick Morgan; her sister Christine Klauck; her nephew Michael; her sister Catherine Fiske-Klauck; her sister-in-law Jackie Markert; her nieces, Janet Kalpaxis and Sandra; and her nephew Ruben Yunga.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Grace Lutheran Church (338 Ocean Shore Blvd, Ormond Beach, FL 32176).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Grace Lutheran or St. Andrews Lutheran Churches.
