He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Harriet Covington; his daughters, Becky Covington and Patty Glover; his stepdaughter Paula Elliott; his son-in-law Dannon Glover; his stepson-in-law Patrick Elliott; his grandchildren, Lyndon, Shelley, John, Jefferson, Theo Glover, Chance, Megan Elliott, Jaclyn Thuman, Remi and Hudson Thuman; his sisters, Glenda Dixon and Lois Weidler; and his son Timothy Wayne Covington. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
