She was predeceased by : her mother Mary Elizabeth Diebold; her husband Paul Douglas "Doug" Walter; her father John Joseph Diebold; and her brothers, John "Jack" Diebold (Roselle) and Cyril Diebold (Mary).

She is survived by : her sons, Greg Walter (Shawna) of Kentucky, Kevin Walter (Joy) of North Carolina and Jeffrey Walter (Amy) of Kentucky; and her sister Martha Smith (Robert).

Mike Wiese wrote a sympathy message

“Good Morning Walter Family, Rose (my wife) and I were so saddened to hear of the passing of Mary. Rose and I met Mary thru Roses mom, Rose Lenihan who passed away in January of 23.....She really was a beautiful person and a good friend to Rose Sr. who met her at St. Brendans. We would try and stop and see her when in Ormond. She will be missed, but I am sure is in heaven with all of her friends. Best Regards Mike and Rose Wiese [email protected]”
