He was predeceased by: his wife Josephine (Rainey); and his brother Gerard Simpson. He is survived by: his grandson Jack Michael; his daughters, Marie Yongue (Johnnie), Michelle Simpson and Barbara Kates (Michael) of Murphy, NC; his grandson Jack Michael Yongue; and his sisters, Christine Sparacino Barillas (Antonio) of Princeton, NJ, Rita Sheehan (Tim) and Bethel. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nephews.
