We are sad to announce that on July 13, 2025, at the age of 84, Shirley Ann Hicks of Ormond Beach, Florida, born in Rome, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Shirley Ann's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Shirley Ann has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Riverbend Community Church (2080 W Granada Blvd, Ormond Beach, FL 32174). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the North Decatur United Methodist Church (1523 Church St, Decatur, GA 30030).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to WARM (Women Assisting Recovering Mothers) at Riverbend Community Church, 2080 W. Granada Blvd., Ormond Beach, FL 32174—an organization dear to Shirley's heart.
