Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Skip Lowery of Ormond Beach, Florida, who passed away at the age of 85, on May 1, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollie Mae York and Onas Felton Lowery; his son Wade Stone (Trish); his sister Betty Mitchell (Mitch); his brothers-in-law, Michael and Pat Hughes; and his close friend Jim Smiley.

He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his grandchildren, Skyler, Triston and Tanner Stone; his daughter-in-law Trish Stone; his niece Beth Cox (Bill); his nephews, Bob (Frankie) and Tom Mitchell (Connie); his brother-in-law Jeff Hughes (Cathy); and his pet Tully. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins, innumerable friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Volusia Memorial Funeral Home (548 N Nova Rd, Ormond Beach, FL 32174). Skip is survived by his loving wife of 37 years Kathy; his grandchildren Skyler, Triston and Tanner Stone, daughter-in-law Trish Stone, niece Beth (Bill) Cox, nephews Bob (Frankie) and Tom (Connie) Mitchell, brother-in-law Jeff (Cathy) Hughes, many nieces and nephews, cousins, innumerable friends, and his sweet dog Tully who helped him and Kathy through the pandemic and beyond.
