With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Susan Johnston of Ormond Beach, Florida, who passed away on October 24, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Lord and Marcella Kittredge Lord; and her son Craig Johnston. She is survived by: her husband James "Jim" Johnston; her children, Kendra Song of Ormond Beach and Brian Johnston (Lisa) of Warwick, NY; her grandchildren, Patrick, Mimi Song of Waltham, MA, Zachary and Dylan Johnston of Warwick, NY.; and her siblings, James, Frederick, Jon Lord, Mary Welch and Ruth Corum.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Craig Flagler Palms Funeral Home (511 Old Kings Rd S, Flagler Beach, FL 32136). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home (511 Old Kings Rd S, Flagler Beach, FL 32136). During the COVID-19 pandemic, she lovingly sewed more than 7, 000 masks for friends, family, and her community—a reflection of her boundless compassion and selflessness.
