It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William James Newman Jr. of OSCEOLA, Florida, born in Gallipolis, Ohio, who passed away on December 14, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son William J. Newman, III. He is survived by: his wife Threca Klein Newman; his daughters, Susan Abshire (Ollie Abshire) and Nancy Riffe (Ed Riffe); his grandchildren, Michelle Longbrake, Andy Abshire, Scott Abshire, Stephanie Newman and William J. Newman IV; and his great grandchildren, Mila Longbrake, Jonathon Abshire and William Abshire.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Shriners Hospitals for Children, causes that were close to William's heart.
