She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugo Gizzi and Angelina Gizzi; her brother Leonard Gizzi; and her former husband Thomas Spagnola. She is survived by: her husband Thomas Wichowski (Tommy); her daughter Stacey Ret (Spagnola); her son-in-law Gene Ret; her grandchildren, Nicholas and Angelina Ret; her stepdaughter Tami Grancagnolo; her stepgrandson Jake Grancagnolo; and her brother David Gizzi.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Galante Funeral Home-Union (2800 Morris Ave, Union, NJ 07083). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Spirit Church (971 Suburban Rd, Union, NJ 07083). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 10:15 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at the Hollywood Memorial Park (1500 Stuyvesant Ave., Union, NJ 07083).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made in her name to either of her two favorite charities: St. Jude Research Hospital for Children or Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
