He was predeceased by: his parents, John B. Nimons and Neamata McKeon Nimons; his son John Nimons (Hilary); and his sibling Daraghle Gallagher (John E., II). He is survived by: his wife Marianne Duffy Nimons; his son Timothy Nimons (Jill); his grandchildren, Alexandra Amiccuci (Joseph), Timothy J. Nimons, John "Jack" Nimons, John "Jake" Nimons and Jessica Nimons; and his great grandchildren, Dean and John Patrick Amiccuci. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
