It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Salvatore J. Rand of Osprey, Florida, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on April 9, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let us carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Salvatore may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Rand and Margaret Santariello. He is survived by : his wife Agnes Renee Rand; his children, Mary Connelly (Mark), Cathy Rand, Jeanne Ismail, Joseph Rand (Debby) and John Rand (Jenny); his brother Richard (Linda); and his sisters-in-law, Marsha and Marguerite. He is also survived by his wife, their 5 children, 9 grandchildren, and 2 great- grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McMahon, Lyon & Hartnett Funeral Home, Inc. (491 Mamaroneck Ave, White Plains, NY 10605). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, May 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Pius X Church (91 Secor Rd, Scarsdale, NY 10583).
