He was predeceased by: his parents, James Austin Hurley Sr. and Martha Davis Hurley; his wife Patricia Lee Steele Hurley; and his brother James Austin Hurley Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Michael John Hurley and Ryan Davis Hurley; and his siblings, Sula Jane Hurley and Paul Wayne Hurley.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Colonel Hurley's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
