She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Henderson and Myrtle Lee Henderson; and her son Kristopher Smith. She is survived by: her husband Keith Smith Sr.; her children, Keith Smith Jr. (Umi), Ray and Kellie Putnam (Shawn); her grandchildren, Lily, Violet, Shawn Jr. and Jasmine; and her siblings, Glenda, Madelaine, Virginia, Joe and Phyllis.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the CrossLife Church (45 W Broadway St, Oviedo, FL 32765-8382).
After more than 11 years at the University of Dayton, Zelda medically retired following her Alzheimer's diagnosis.
