Elizabeth leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Elizabeth’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Elizabeth will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Melcher Bergonia and Maria Bergonia. She is survived by: her husband Salvador Lagula; her daughter Christie Lagula-Shelton; her grandson Cecil Lagula Jr.; and her siblings, Myrna Vergara of Jacksonville and Renato Bergonia (Rita) of Jacksonville.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church (6451 Park Ave, Milton, FL 32570). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A procession will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Olive Baptist Church-Warrington Campus (103 W Winthrop Ave, Pensacola, FL 32507). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Barrancas National Cemetery (1 Cemetery Rd, Pensacola, FL 32508).
