He was predeceased by: his parents, Joy Hickman and Lona Hickman; his sister Geneva Sharpe; and his brothers-in-law, Eddie Reece and John Barnard.
He is survived by: his daughters, Paula Lowell (Chris) of Greenfield, Indiana, Amy Logsdon (Chris) of Nashville, Indiana, Karen Cash (Aaron) of Pace, Florida, Amanda Yocum (Mike) and Laura Walston (Rodney Rimstidt) of Rising Sun; his sons-in-law, Shane Walston of Rising Sun and Andy Brookbank of Greendale; his grandchildren, Elise Durazo (Matthew), Madelyn Lowell, Ben, Vada, Cole Walston, Jalen, Hunter Brookbank, Gavin Yocum, Nathaniel, Tobias, Wyatt Cash, Lebanon Logsdon and Corina Sullivan; and his siblings, Brenda Barnard of Harrison, OH, Alan Lester Hickman of Florence, IN, Shirley Reece of Seymour, IN, Darlene Marple (Chuck) of Cross Plains, IN and Sam Hickman (Sandy) of Florence, IN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
