Major Kenneth Abery Obituary

We bid farewell to Major Kenneth Abery of Pace, Florida, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 31, 2025 at the age of 91. Major touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Major leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Delcie Abery and Edwin Abery; and his brother Edwin Abery. He is survived by: his wife Wilma Ruth; his sister Shirley Ancsell (Keith); and his daughters, Karen Detwiler (Steve), Kenwyn Trotter (Kenneth) and Jennifer Gregg (Edward). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the The Salvation Army (1501 N Q St, Pensacola, FL 32505).

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations made to Emerald Coast Hospice of Milton.
