We are sad to announce that on September 2, 2025, at the age of 69, Daniel Richard Hemphill of Palatka, Florida, born in Gainesville, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Isaiah Hemphill and Hilda Myerl Campbell; and his siblings, Harrell, Frances and Marilyn.
He is survived by: his wife Carla; his sons, Adam (Crystal) and Seth (Katy Jordan); his granddaughters, Marli, Averi, Kirra and Laila; his siblings, Rodger (Jackie), Ricky (Ann), Travis (Nita), Helen Provau and Martha "Janice" Reese; and his close friend Kelvin Haire. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Masters Funeral Home - Palatka Chapel (3015 Crill Ave, Palatka, FL 32177). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Rotary Club of Interlachen and Lakes Area (P.O. Box 272, Interlachen, FL 32148), Haven Hospice Roberts Care Center (6400 St. Johns Ave., Palatka, FL 32177), or local youth programs.
