It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris R. Griffis (Palatka, Florida), who passed away on March 21, 2026, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Revels and Myrtle Revels; her brother Robert Revels; her husband Harold Griffis; her son David Griffis; her son-in-law James West; and her grandson Shaun Griffis.
She is survived by: her brother William J. Revels, Jr.; and her children, Harold Jr. (Glenda Griffis), Carol Jean West, Nancy Griffis, Paul (Clara Griffis), Myrtle Ann Hill and Timothy (Natasha Griffis). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 2 great- great- grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.
