He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Jerome and Mary Edyth Saxby. He is survived by: his sons, Christopher Edgar Saxby and Jeffrey Stephen Saxby; and his siblings, Kevin Saxby (Jana), Linda Crane (Tim) and Cheryl Blackburn (Tom). He is also survived by four grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hillcrest Baptist Church Building Fund, 2009 President Street, Palatka, FL 32177.
