It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George Edward Roper Sr. of Palatka, Florida, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on April 14, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Amos Roper and Mona Roper; and also Amos Roper, Jr.. He is survived by : his wife Dusty Roper of Ft. McCoy; his sons, George E. Roper, Jr. (Rachelle) of Belleview and Matthew Roper (Tiffani) of Oxford; his brothers, Tom Roper of Yalaha, FL and John Roper (Nancy) of Orlando; and his grandchildren, Morgan Roper, Isaiah Roper, Brentlee Roper, Kinslee Roper and Taylen Roper. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Eden Cemetery.
