He was predeceased by: his wife Loretta Carol Tucker Brown; his parents, Isadore Brown and Nancy Brown; and his siblings, Gladys Mullins, Katherine Wright, Ruby Newsome, Bruce Brown, Charles Isadore Brown and James Brown.

He is survived by: his children, Tony Brown of Ocala and Sandra; his son-in-law David Dykstra of Buchanan, Michigan; and his brothers, Lloyd Brown of Dorton, KY and Cecil Brown of El Paso, TX. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
