He was predeceased by: his mother Dorothy Virginia Meigs Perry; and his brothers, Tom Perry Jr. and Samuel K. Perry. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Ryan James, Kyle William Perry, Camerynn Meigs and Leighton Caide Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
