Jean R. Hardy Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 17, 2025, at the age of 85, Jean R. Hardy of Palatka, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Jean shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Jean farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband Curtis Hardy; and her siblings, Dorothy Herrington and Kenneth Hunt. She is survived by: her children, Ellen Hardy of Palatka, Chris Hardy (Teri) of Palatka and Raymond Hardy (Erika) of Palatka; and her grandchildren, Casey, Evan, Jordan, Logan and Sydney. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Johnson-Overturf Chapel (307 S Palm Ave, Palatka, FL 32177). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
