It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lena Langley Cutrer of Palatka, Florida, born in Ripley, Tennessee, who passed away on March 20, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Langley and Ophelia Langley; her husband Billie Cutrer; and her siblings, Nathalene Singleton and Harvey Langley, Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Sherry (Barry Hartley), Mary Cutrer of Gainesville, Florida, Greg (Rachel Cutrer) and Keith (Sue Cutrer). She is also survived by six grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

“We here at the Mew household are so sad to hear of Mrs. Cutrer's passing. She was our long time neighbor. Our daughter has fond memories of playing with her granddaughter when she came to visit her. Our kids went to school with two of her granddaughters as well. We remember Mr. Cutrer as well and they were the nicest people we have ever met. Our cats loved enjoying an extra meal or treat at her house too! We will always remember them and their kindness. We send out prayers to your family at this difficult time.”
