She is survived by: her children, Robert "Rock" Johns of Belen, NM, Edward Johns of Palatka, FL, Lonnie "Lion" Johns of Belen, NM, Ajaj "Rosco" Latif (Tonia) of Palatka, FL, Latif Abdullah of Daytona Beach, FL, Anthony "Tony" Wright (Anita) of Riverview, FL, Raymond Gibbs (Chelesa) of Cary, NC, Terrence Simmons (April) of Riverview, FL and Bryan Simmons of Atlanta, GA.; and her siblings, Martha Washington of Tallahassee, FL, Milton Johns of Palatka, FL and Irene Johns of Palatka, FL. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, church family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church (1501 Bronson St, Palatka, FL 32177). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Calvary MBC Family Life Center.
