He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Smith; his brothers, Allan A. (Sandy Smith) and Lewis G. Smith; and his sister-in-law Diane Smith of Jackson, Michigan.. He is survived by: his children, Osgood "Capper" Smith of Deltona and Kim Smith of Georgetown; his brothers, William W. Smith (Jerry Ann) of Holland and Fredrick Smith of Jackson, Michigan; and his sister-in-law Shirley Smith of Bonita Springs, Florida..
