She was predeceased by: her husband Julius Johns; her parents, Harmon Owens and May Owens; her children, James Nowlin and Chyrl Lindley; her siblings, Raymond Owens, Ricky Owens, Shirley Owens and Molly Messer (Polly Newland); and her grandchildren, Melissa Nelson and Adam Nowlin.
She is survived by: her son Scotty; her daughter-in-law Denise Johns; her daughters, Tammy (Robert Taylor), Melinda (Bernie Ostrom), Vicki Foster and Dana (Larry Beckham); her daughter-in-law Florence Nowlin; her sisters, Loetta O'Quinn and Kay Owens; and her grandchildren, Jamie Nowlin, Kelly Youngblood, Kyle Nowlin, Madison Sergeant, Ally Edwards, Johnny Nelson, Matthew Lindley, Roger White, Michael Austin, Andrea Evans, Tyler Evans, Brian Curran, Jennifer Collins and Kameron Johns. She is also survived by several great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
