He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Lucie Neel Dekle McLendon; his wife Vivian Oliver McLendon; his children, Lucie McLendon Little (Larry), Laura McLendon Beckler (Craig) and Matthew Dekle McLendon (Townes Coates); his son-in-law Greg Odom; and his grandchildren, Gage, Stella Odom, Joannah and Caleb Beckler.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the St. Johns River State College Foundation.
