He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Cason and Eileen Cason; his brothers, Jack Cason and Billy Cason; his son Danny Masters; and his grandson Shawn Ryster.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Cason; his children, Dale Masters (Paula), Diana Lewis (Jamie), Candi Cason Owens, Donna Rainey (Jim), Cathy Cason, Derinda Rushlau and Teasi Ray (Shannon); his siblings, Carlswell Cason (Sandra), Yvonne Ashley, Vaunice Conway and Carolyn Green; and his great great grandchild Halsten. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren.
