It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Smith of Palatka, Florida, who passed away on January 20, 2026, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Shirley may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Shirley touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her father James Bradshaw (Joan W. Brown Bradshaw); her daughter Teresa Smith; and her nephew Michael Jay Smith. She is survived by: her children, James (Carol Smith), Travis Smith, Marlene Smith (Lana) and Paul Higginbotham; her grandsons, Jeremy Smith and Jason Patila; and her sister Carol Ann Hibbits.
