He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Lewis Burke and Pauline Cody Burke; his son Chris Burke; his granddaughter Elizabeth Corbin; and his siblings, Melvin Burke, Peggy Burke and Martha Henson.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Barber Burke; his children, Lennie Burke, Trudale "Trudy" Burke Corbin (Ray), Patsy Burke Munch (Doug) and James Travis Burke; his siblings, Raymond "Butch" Burke (Charlotte) and Audrey Allison; and his grandchildren, Robert Joseph "Joe" Pitts (Shannon), Eston Ben Pitts, Terra Trovado (Jason), Heather Corbin, Audra Ricks Burrell, Allie Mitchell (Adam), Lincoln Munch, Melissa Lee Burke, Bonnie Ann Burke, James Walter Burke (Payton) and Steven Moore (Karlie). He is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter.
