He was predeceased by: his parents, James E Johnson and Sarah D Gipson; his daughters, Rose Marie Johnson and Christyna Ondecker; and his siblings, Mary Lou, Jack, Betty, Imogene, Johnny and Jim.
He is survived by: his wife Lynda Johnson; his children, Tina, Dick Johnson (Shelli), April Thompson (Ray) and Peggy Curt; his grandchildren, Adam Jeter, Austin Johnson, Connor Johnson, Joseph Brady-Mark and Angela Curt; and his sister Myrtle.
