He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Blatt and Claudia Blatt; his brother Robert "Bobby" Blatt; and his son Gerald E. Blatt, Jr. (Jerry). He is survived by: his daughter Theresa Blatt (Jessica Brant); his siblings, Richard Blatt (Jeanne Tibbetts), Joyce Blatt Guth Mohnton (Raymond Guth) and Nancy Blatt Rutter Ladysmith (Ken Rutter); his nieces and nephews, Shawn Blatt (Amy Blake), Eric Guth of Etters, Ryan Guth of Mohnton, Kimberly Blatt Reeves of Mays Landing and Cara Guth San Diego (Cole Dreier); Donnie, Jill, Lexi, Bill and Diane.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the William Childs Hospice House or any of the locations he was a member of.
