He is survived by: his children, Jay Piper, Barbara Nie and John Piper; his grandchildren, Alexandra Nie (Stephanie Cave), Taylor Piper, Sebastian Gladu (Jessica Gladu), Jay Piper II, Kolbe Piper and Brandon Piper; and his great grandchildren, Haylei Nie, Aleeah Nie-Cave, Alijah Nie-Cave, Antonio Nie-Cave, Alayjah Nie-Cave, Avion Nie-Cave and Duke Amari Davis.
