With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joseph James Eibner in Palm Bay, Florida, born in Buffalo, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 4, 2026 at the age of 102. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Joseph departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Joseph may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Joseph leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Eibner and Rebekah Eibner; and his wives, Verna Rhodehouse Eibner and Betsy Collins Eibner. He is survived by: his children, James Eibner (Susan Eibner), John Eibner (Angela Eibner), Bonnie Robinson and Daniel Eibner (Karole Eibner). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and was blessed with 21 great-grandchildren, his family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brownlie-Maxwell Funeral Home (1010 Palmetto Ave, Melbourne, FL 32901). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Melbourne.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Melbourne.
