It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Lee Pierce of Palm Bay, Florida, who passed away on February 27, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen Allen Pierce and Shirley Hoffman Pierce; and his brothers, Owen Pierce (Onnie) and Gary Pierce. He is survived by: his wife Paula Burge Pierce; his siblings, Dennis Pierce (Chris) of Redford and Cindy Paris (Ron) of Johannesburg, Michigan; his daughters, Victoria Renfro (Jody) of Palm Bay and Megan Pirog (Greg) of Manassas, Virginia.; and his granddaughters, Leala Renfro of Palm Bay, Alexis Olney (Lexi) and Zoey Pirog of Manassas, Virginia..
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to support.woundedwarriorproject.org in honor of Richard's military service and years of dedicated service to the children of military members as a teacher and educational technologist in the Department of Defense Dependents' Schools in the countries of Bahrain, Azores/Portugal, and Germany.
