It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rubinetta Short of Palm Bay, Florida, who passed away on May 9, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Short. She is survived by: her children, Dr. Phyllis Qualls of Nashville, TN, Jennifer Nance (Kevin) and Jeffery Short; her grandchildren, Lovette Curry (Daren), Kyle Nance and Kolby Nance; her great grandchildren, Alexander Curry and Samuel Curry; and her siblings, Ernest Qualls (Elsie) of Tylertown, MS, Stanford Qualls (Fronie) of Bogue Chitto, MS, Jacqueline Qualls Evans (O. D.) of Monticello, MS and Vernon Qualls (Patricia) of Bogue Chitto, MS.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives, and friends.
