With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Veronica Schmitt Phelabaum of Palm Bay, Florida, who passed away on May 17, 2026 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Veronica's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Veronica has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Hadley, Toni Phelabaum, Chris Pinks, Becky Winch (Jim), Bob Phelabaum (Holly) and Monica Young (David); and her brother Edward Schmitt. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.
Friends planning expressions of sympathy are asked to consider donations to Health First Hospice, EWTN (Catholic television network) or St. Vincent de Paul of Our Lady of Grace, Palm Bay.
